This is an informational English translation. The Turkish original is legally binding; in case of any discrepancy the Turkish text prevails.

Version 1.1 — Effective: 3 November 2026

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on the gastte.com sales and promotional website, the Gastte management panel and the subdomains operated by Fibrika Reklam Hizmetleri Limited Şirketi (the Gastte brand). It has been prepared in line with the Personal Data Protection Board's Guide on Cookie Practices (Çerez Uygulamaları Hakkında Rehber) and should be read together with the KVKK Privacy Notice.

1. What Is a Cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that the website you visit places in your browser. It is used to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and measure how the site is used. Local storage (localStorage), session storage and pixel tags may also be used for similar purposes; in this policy all of them are referred to as "cookies".

2. Scope: Which Sites?

2.1 In scope: gastte.com (sales website, help centre, sign-up and sign-in pages), the Gastte management panel and the subdomains operated by Gastte.

2.2 Out of scope: Customer publications. The cookie policy of the news websites published on the Gastte infrastructure (our Customers' publications) is determined and published by the publisher of that publication. The publisher is the data controller for its own analytics, advertising and social plug-in cookies. In publications, Gastte uses only strictly necessary technical cookies (session, security, language preference) and provides the publisher with a cookie banner tool. Please direct any questions about a publication's cookies to the contact address in that publication's masthead (künye).

3. Types of Cookies We Use

3.1 Strictly necessary cookies (no consent required)

These are required for the site and the panel to work and cannot be switched off. Legal basis: performance of a contract and legitimate interest (Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), Art. 5/2-c, f).

  • Session cookie: recognises your session when you sign in to the panel. Duration: for the session, or 30 days if "remember me" is selected.
  • Security cookies: cross-site request forgery (CSRF) protection, two-factor authentication status, sign-in attempt limiting. Duration: session or 24 hours.
  • Preference cookies: language, theme (light/dark), panel layout, dismissed notices. Duration: up to 12 months.
  • Load balancing and caching: routing your requests to the correct server. Duration: session.

3.2 Analytics cookies

Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) is used on the gastte.com sales website to understand the number of visitors, which pages are read and where problems occur in the sign-up flow. The site measures every visit. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving and promoting our service (KVKK Art. 5/2-f); the measurement is not intended to identify you as a person, and your name or e-mail address is not sent to Google.

  • Web analytics: page views, session duration, referring source, device type, approximate location (city level; Google Analytics does not store IP addresses). Duration: up to 13 months. As Google's servers are located abroad, the data is transferred abroad in accordance with KVKK Art. 9.
  • Campaign measurement: URL parameters (utm) and the related cookie used to understand that you arrived via an advertising link. Duration: 30 days.

No third-party analytics cookies are used in the panel (the signed-in area); there are only non-personalised usage counters kept on our own servers.

3.3 Marketing and advertising cookies

Third-party advertising network or retargeting cookies are currently not used on gastte.com. If they are used in the future, they will run only with your separate and explicit consent, this policy will be updated and a separate option will be offered in the cookie banner.

3.4 Third-party embedded content

The help centre or promotional pages may contain embedded videos (e.g. YouTube) or social network content. When you play such content, the relevant platform may place its own cookies; these cookies are subject to that platform's own policy. Where possible, embedded content is provided in a "privacy-friendly" form that does not load until you click on it.

4. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

4.1 Blocking analytics. If you do not want to take part in Google Analytics measurement, you can block gastte.com cookies in your browser or use Google's "Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on" (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout); the site keeps working fully in that case.

4.2 Browser settings. You can delete or block all cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in to the panel or cause some features not to work.

4.3 Panel. Since there are no consent-based cookies in the panel other than session and preference cookies, there is no separate preference screen; you can turn off the "remember me" option and invalidate session cookies with "sign out of all devices".

5. Retention of Data Processed via Cookies

Data collected via cookies is retained for the periods stated above; when the period expires the cookie is removed from the browser, and raw server-side records are deleted or converted into anonymous statistics within 13 months at the latest. Security logs are retained for 2 years (KVKK Privacy Notice, Art. 8).

6. Your Rights

With respect to your personal data processed via cookies, you may exercise your rights under KVKK Art. 11 by writing to destek@gastte.com or to Yaka Mah. Aziz Mahmut Hüdai Cad. No:185/102 Meram / Konya. Applications are answered within 30 days.

7. Changes

When the cookies used change, this policy is updated and published at gastte.com with a new version number. If a new consent-based cookie type is added, the cookie banner will be shown again and your consent will be requested again.
