Türkçe sürüm 1.0

This is an informational English translation. The Turkish original is legally binding; in case of any discrepancy the Turkish text prevails.

Version 1.0 — Effective: 2 November 2026

This policy is an integral part of the Gastte Service and Subscription Agreement and is binding on all Customers using the Gastte platform (panel, publishing infrastructure, artificial intelligence tools, newsletter, API) and on their team members. Gastte is a sub-brand of Fibrika Reklam Hizmetleri Limited Şirketi. Its purpose is to protect readers, other publishers, third parties and the shared infrastructure. The sanctions in Article 8 apply to content and accounts that do not comply with the rules.

1. Basic Principle

1.1 You alone are responsible for the content of your publication. Gastte is not a publisher or an editor; it does not review your content in advance. However, it intervenes when it becomes aware of content that is unlawful or contrary to this policy.

1.2 You must use the platform in compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Türkiye, international law and the rules of the other platforms you are bound by (social networks, agencies, artificial intelligence providers).

1.3 If in doubt, ask: destek@gastte.com. The final editorial decision and legal responsibility as to whether a piece of content may be published rests with you; Gastte's opinion is not legal advice.

2. Illegal and Harmful Content

It is prohibited to generate, upload, publish or link to the following content:

  • Content constituting a criminal offence under Turkish Criminal Code No. 5237 (TCK) and special laws; content relating to the catalogue offences listed in Art. 8 of Law No. 5651 (on the Regulation of Internet Publications) (sexual abuse of children, obscenity, prostitution, gambling, drugs, incitement to suicide, supply of substances dangerous to health, offences against Atatürk and others).
  • Propaganda for terrorist organisations; content praising, encouraging or legitimising terrorism and violence.
  • Hate speech, degradation or calls for violence against persons or groups on the grounds of race, ethnic origin, religion, sect, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar characteristics.
  • Content disclosing, without consent, persons' private lives or personal data (health, sex life, criminal convictions, identity number, address); crime reports revealing the identity of children; exposure of victims.
  • Insulting, defamatory, threatening, blackmailing and harassing content; attacks on personality rights.
  • Content violating the right of reply and correction, publication bans, or the re-publication of content to which access has been blocked by court order.
  • Content constituting instructions for causing serious harm, such as making weapons or explosives, malware or fraud methods.

3. Copyright and Bulk Copying

3.1 It is prohibited to copy the works of other publishers, agencies or authors without permission and attribution, to publish them as your own work merely by changing their wording ("rewriting"), or to use agency photographs and videos without a licence. The quotation limits and the obligation to cite sources under Law No. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works (FSEK) apply.

3.2 Prohibited practices: automatically pulling and republishing a source's entire feed ("scraper site"); copying content behind a paywall; circumventing a source's robots.txt or terms of use by trickery; concealing source attribution, or presenting content written by artificial intelligence under the byline of a real reporter.

3.3 The news fact is free; the original expression, photograph, graphic and video of the work are not. The artificial intelligence rewriting tool does not eliminate copyright infringement.

3.4 News agency feeds (AA, İHA, DHA, ANKA, etc.) may be used only under your own agreement with the agency and within the limits set by the agency. It is prohibited to share your agency credentials with other accounts or to publish agency content on sites outside the scope of your subscription.

4. Disinformation and Misuse of Artificial Intelligence

4.1 It is prohibited to publish as news claims that you know to be untrue or that you have not reasonably verified; to produce fake quotations, fake polls or fake statements; or to attribute to real persons words they did not say.

4.2 It is prohibited to use artificial intelligence to produce and publish fake images, audio or video ("deepfakes") of real persons, institutions or events as news material. Artificial intelligence images that are illustrative in nature must be clearly labelled.

4.3 Publishing artificial intelligence outputs fully automatically without reading them or verifying their sources is not prohibited, but you bear full responsibility for the consequences. It is your obligation to choose Autopilot settings appropriate to your publication's subject matter and risk level, and to keep human approval for sensitive topics (health, law, finance, security, elections).

4.4 It is prohibited to use the artificial intelligence tools to circumvent the provider's usage policies (instructions aimed at generating restricted content, renting out the provider account to others).

4.5 It is prohibited to present content generated by artificial intelligence in health, law, finance and similar fields as professional advice; appropriate disclaimers must be added.

5. Newsletter, Email and Commercial Electronic Messages (İYS)

5.1 The newsletter and notification tools may be used only for sending to readers who have subscribed with their explicit consent. Sending to purchased, scraped or third-party-acquired lists is prohibited.

5.2 Under Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce and the Regulation on Commercial Communication and Commercial Electronic Messages, it is your responsibility to obtain consent for commercial messages, register consents with the Message Management System (İleti Yönetim Sistemi, İYS) and provide a working opt-out link in every message. Gastte adds the opt-out link automatically; consent management and İYS registration are the Customer's responsibility.

5.3 It is prohibited to conceal the sender's identity, use a fake sender name, write misleading subject lines or generate high complaint or bounce rates. To protect the shared email reputation, Gastte applies an hourly sending limit and may stop, without notice, the sending of an account whose complaint rate exceeds the threshold.

5.4 The same consent and content rules apply to web push notifications and Telegram channels.

6. Source Crawling, Bots and Resource Limits

6.1 Source crawling (RSS, site crawling, API pulls) may be used only for news monitoring and compilation, at a reasonable frequency. It is prohibited to circumvent source sites' access rules (robots.txt, rate limits, terms of use), break login restrictions or place a disproportionate load on the source.

6.2 It is prohibited to use the crawling tool for non-news purposes (price scraping, personal data collection, competitor monitoring, dataset creation).

6.3 The user, site, storage, refresh frequency, artificial intelligence generation and email quotas defined for your plan are binding. It is prohibited to exceed quotas by technical means, split them across multiple accounts or multiply trial accounts.

6.4 Automations that consume the platform's shared resources (processor, memory, database, network) in a way that adversely affects other customers' service may be restricted by Gastte without notice.

6.5 Cryptocurrency mining, proxy servers, file-sharing services, bulk generation of shortened links and workloads unrelated to news publishing are prohibited.

7. Security

7.1 Attempts at unauthorised access to the platform, other Customers' accounts or the infrastructure, as well as vulnerability scanning, penetration testing and load testing (including DDoS) are prohibited without Gastte's written permission.

7.2 It is prohibited to upload or distribute malware, phishing pages, fake login forms, malicious scripts or tracking code.

7.3 It is prohibited to share your account credentials and API keys with others, open accounts for unauthorised persons or fail to report a compromised account.

7.4 Reverse engineering, obtaining the source code, copying the platform to develop a competing product and scraping the panel interface with automated tools are prohibited.

7.5 Responsible disclosure. If you discover a security vulnerability, report it to destek@gastte.com; allow Gastte a reasonable time to fix it before disclosing it publicly. Good-faith reports are not subject to sanctions.

8. Sanctions

8.1 Depending on the severity of the violation, Gastte may apply one or more of the following measures without prior notice:

  1. A warning and a request for correction within a specified period.
  2. Removal of the relevant content or blocking of access to it (at the level of the individual content item).
  3. Temporary disabling of the relevant feature (artificial intelligence generation, newsletter, Autopilot, social sharing, source crawling).
  4. Suspension of the publication (a "temporarily not available" page for readers).
  5. Suspension of the account; in the case of repeated or serious violations, immediate termination of the agreement without compensation.
  6. Where legally required, notification to the competent authorities and sharing of the traffic and identity information required by legislation.

8.2 In the case of third-party notices concerning unlawful content, Gastte will, where possible, give you time to remove the content; if it is not removed within that time, Gastte will block the content itself. In the case of court or administrative orders and in emergencies, notification may be made afterwards.

8.3 No refund of fees is made for the period during which a sanction is applied. In the case of suspension and termination, Articles 15 and 16 of the Service Agreement apply; your right to export is preserved, subject to legal restrictions.

8.4 If you believe a sanction has been applied unjustly, you may submit a reasoned objection to destek@gastte.com; the objection is evaluated within 5 business days.

9. Changes to the Policy

Gastte may update this policy in line with legislation, platform rules and emerging risks. Material changes are announced 30 days in advance by panel notification or email; changes justified by urgent security reasons may take effect immediately.
